Success and Failure

The word Success is very close to our hearts as we all prefer to be successful in all fields of life. Just imagine blissful life, financial stability, happiness, and achievements which everyone craves. But only some get the chance to attain it. Why?

The reason is, Success comes with failure. The great result comes out when one accepts the loss and defeat. That boosts the Willpower to go ahead in life. One can get bored if remains in constant state.

Recently, Magnus Carselun Chess Grandmaster relinquished his Grand Title which possessing for ten years. Because he lost charm and inclination to play matches. He stated that “I’m not motivated to play another match”.

That wealth, fame and honour couldn’t attract him anymore. Why?

From this incident, it is clear that as long as there are challenges and competition in life, passion and dedication also remain for him that stimulating in activating his hidden abilities to perform better in life.

Passion and hard work are not enough to be successful. Failure is also essential. Failure is not a step backwards; it’s an excellent stepping stone to success.

A famous martial artist, Chen Man Ching, would never fight with anyone whom he believed he could beat. He only fought those who were stronger and more skilled than he was. He recognized that he could learn nothing from winning. He learned only from his failures. He said, “Invest in the loss.”

Success is not what you think it is. Success is itself a greater failure. Thus, the greatest martial artists focus entirely on eliminating or reducing conflict. Hence “There are two sides to every coin” Success and Failure are both parts of life.

“Success is not a destination it’s a journey”. We just think of material success but if we are good human beings having flawless character, good ethical behaviour and kindness towards others is also an incredible asset, and certainly a great success.
